Apologize
An apology is appropriate whenever we say or do something that hurts or offends another person. Our parents teach us the value of an apology from the time we are old enough to talk. When we apologize it is a reflection of the relationship between God and His people. We are all God’s people.
When we disobey God – repentance is our way of apology. No—God is never going to say ‘yes’ I forgive you, then turn around and hold it against you. When God forgives you – you can be sure the apology has been accepted.
You may be wondering when you should repent/apologize to God. That’s a good thing to think about. In Matthew 6:12 Jesus teaches us to ask forgiveness/repentance every day (we are to pray every day). The next time you go to prayer – ask God to forgive you, knowing God loves you and has your best interest at heart. When we pray – God knows we are ready and willing to receive help.
No condemnation because God loves you more than you could ever imagine!
Be blessed for all your days!!
