FAITH & GRACE

In Matthew chapter 9 Jesus was in his hometown. Notice the string of miracles occurring in the verses of this chapter:

+ a lame man received strength to walk (v6)

+ a young girl was raised from the dead (v24-25)

+ a woman with a blood disorder was healed(v22)

+ two blind men received their sight(v30)

In each case somebody exercised their faith. When Jesus saw their faith – a miracle occurred. Notice the timing – faith was present before the miracle occurred. God responds to our faith with grace. Grace is when God gives you something good when you really don’t deserve it. Thank God for grace!

Why don’t you take some time to recognize the grace of God in your life. God has blessed us all with something good. All along life’s journey – find something to thank God for –
