Jesus did a good thing by raising Lazarus from the dead but the establishment was not pleased. Imagine them saying, “We are the respected religious leaders. The people recognize us as having a relationship with God. Who does this Jesus think he is? He is threatening our job security. We have never been able to raise anyone from the dead!! The nerve of him!! We must get rid of this guy!!!”

 
Have you ever done a good thing for someone, only to be persecuted and then you realize jealousy is at the root of it all? Most people like the comfort and confirmation of knowing they are like everybody else. So when you begin to make your mark in this world don’t be surprised to find haters nearby...you may find them in former friends. I say former friends because when you live out your call...you recognize true friends! You will also find haters in your family...(surprise, surprise) Keep moving in what God called you to do!!! Your destiny is in full view!!! God is faithful!!!
