And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
An interesting conundrum, God created mankind from the dust of the earth (a dirty thing) and placed His own breath (a sacred thing) within each one of us! The inception of humanity depicts the reality of the lifelong struggle between our flesh and the Spirit of God. When you and I truly submit to the Spirit of God – the struggle is less pronounced. However, don’t be deceived. The struggle is real!
When Nicodemus questioned Jesus about being born again, what Jesus said is profound and simple all at the same time.
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. John 3:5-7
The truth is God ordained us to reconnect with Him as Adam had been. God sends an invitation to one and all to reconnect with Him. When we reconnect with God – we are born of the Spirit of God; thereby put in position to receive everything God has left for you in his Will!!
Somebody should get happy right there!!
