When King David wanted to build God a house, David could have been angry when God refused his offer. Though David’s offer was well intended – God had another plan. David embraced the fact that King Solomon (his son) would build a house for God.
In the same way, we should rejoice when God uses other people. No one person can possess every gift or do everything.
Be glad when God gives you a job to do! At the same time – be glad when you see God’s gift exercised in others. For we are 1 body, fit together in Christ Jesus!
