Your calling may be in the place of your greatest fear

Moses was called to return to Egypt after he fled from Egypt. Understand - Moses fled because he killed an Egyptian. God knew Moses was well educated and well prepared to lead the nation of Israel into their promise. Yet, when he called Moses to lead the people-Moses tried to convince God of his lack of preparation to lead.

Apostle Paul was called to a ministry for Christ after he had participated in murdering believers of the Way. When Paul was called to ministry God accosted and blinded Paul before giving any further instructions. Without a doubt Paul did not think God would take away his eyesight in order to get his attention. God always knows how to get our attention.

In both of these cases the men God approached to use in his ministry were surprised and in a place of fear before moving into ministry for the Lord. Like Moses and Apostle Paul — your ministry may not always be in an area you already like or would naturally choose as an occupation for the rest of your life.

When you become aware of ways you are to serve God . . . ask the Lord for guidance. When you are called God will provide everything you need!
