Unity

At this time in American history unity would be a gift to us all. Without a doubt unity is God’s desire. Throughout scripture we are taught to love our neighbor. Neighbors include people other than ourselves.
The story of the Good Samaritan teaches us the blessing of really caring for another person. Examples of loving our neighbors often come from people outside of the church rather than from people inside the church. It does not matter what we say. Love for another person is seen in our actions.
As we move to love one another the fight for superiority will cease. Systemic racism will fade and family fights will disappear when we begin to love our neighbor as ourselves. Let us make a concious effort to love others. That’s a good prayer, “Please God teach us how to love one another.”

To God be the glory!!

James 2:1-9

. . . My fellow believers, do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery] James 2:1
