Jan 15 We Are All Family

Shirley Caesar has a song, “You Are Next in Line for a Miracle”. Do you believe it? In the song she describes ‘a miracle as something only God can give ’. I agree, only God can do some things in our lives.

I have experienced some miracles in my life – I know you have too. A miracle stops me in my tracks and causes me to pay attention. Today I want to share a writing with you – I know God gave it to me. It’s about our family connection to one another. When you read this writing – think about the human family – not just your Mom, Dad, sisters and brothers. All humans are connected by blood. The human race was continued thru Noah and his sons. (Genesis 9:1)

When you rise up in the morning –

you are not alone!

Your ancestors, children, and children yet unborn – rise with you

When you lay down at night – you never lay down alone

Those same ancestors, children, and unborn

children’s children are with you

You are never alone

They share your blood –

their blood is in your blood

Your blood is in their blood

Take this as a reminder
