Be Productive

Look closely at the word: product -I’ve. …I have a product. Make a goal to have something to show for the time we have been blessed with each day. Problems arise when people have too much idle time on their hands.

We see in Genesis 11 what happened to a group of people who had too much free time. They decided to build a tower to heaven. Surely God was not pleased!

It is important to make good use of the time we have been given. The happiest people live well rounded lives. Which means they work and enjoy themselves. Let’s make a goal to make a contribution to society and enjoy ourselves on a regular basis. I believe your appreciation for life will grow and God will be pleased.

Think of your interests, skills, and dreams. Try some new things or do what you enjoy. Idle time just might be the devil’s workshop!

13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not. 1 Timothy 5:13  (KJV)
