Knowing Where Your Comfort Comes From

Wherever we are and whatever is going on in our lives the provision of God’s comfort is a key way we overcome. We can depend on this as we are encouraged in the following verse that Apostle Paul, who knew about hardship, gave to the Corinthian Church that they would be comforted.

2 Corinthians 1:4 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition),

“Who comforts (consoles and encourages) us in every trouble (calamity and affliction), so that we may also be able to comfort (console and encourage) those who are in any kind of trouble or distress, with the comfort (consolation and encouragement) with which we ourselves are comforted (consoled and encouraged) by God.”

Now, when I read this verse of Scripture, I found so much “solace” and “reassurance “, in that God is speaking to us. I believe you will also find the supernatural comfort that God has already provided for each of you and in every situation and circumstance in your lives.

Know that God’s COMFORT is waiting on you each day and throughout the day and night; even before you know that you will need it. What a promise with sweet victory that this brings to my mind, and hopefully to yours today. 

Be comforted and encouraged, and pass it on . . . someone is waiting . . . and you have been equipped.
