REQUESTS & REQUIREMENTS
Most of us know God answers prayer and we recognize faith as the medium of exchange in the Spirit realm. You and I make requests of God -- bowed down, crying out to God for help, sometimes with a calm voice. Other times we pray with great urgency (as verses of scripture supernaturally flow) when a loved one is sick or has crossed over to eternity. However the prayer goes forth – prayer is the market place where Spiritual transactions are made – prayer is the place where we present our requests to God. Prayer is also the place where God might respond yea or nay.
Sometimes God approaches us with a request; like when he asked Abraham to leave his hometown and when he asked Moses to return to his home. What came as a request from God was a requirement for Abraham and Moses to receive the promise of God for their lives. Abraham received a long awaited child – allowing God to bring innumerable believers into the kingdom of God – to Abraham’s account. Moses accepted his call to ministry and followed God’s plan of leading millions to receive God’s promise. Many are still receiving the promise of God for their lives because of the life Moses lived.
When you bow down in prayer – ask God for what you want and be prepared to hear God’s request of you. Your compliance with God’s request is a requirement -- if you want to live God’s plan for your life.
