Enjoy Your New life
As we begin this brand New Year… I hope we embrace our new life in Christ! Evidence of a new life is when we move with love and grace – often opposing our natural human behavior.
Amazingly, new life in Christ parallels the beginning of new life in the natural. When a woman is with child, she is the only one who knows for the first 3 to 5 months. There is no outward sign of change in her body. Soon she starts to “show”. That is when outward signs clearly reveal that a woman is having a baby. At the end of about 40 weeks everyone can see the brand new baby God has given and placed in our midst. What a wonderful blessing!
New birth in the Spirit begins in a similar way. When you are born again, accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, you become a new person on the inside. A newly saved person immediately changes on the inside. However, the outside of a born again Christian is initially unchanged. When the inside work of the Holy Spirit reaches a certain point, born again Christians begin to show outward changes. Not only might your grooming and attire be adjusted, the countenance (inner glow) changes…letting the world know, “I have been born again”. Enjoy your new life in Jesus!
