“ Be Blessed! “
— Prophet Alfreda
The question, "Where is your faith?"

The question, "Where is your faith?"

In Luke 8:25 Jesus asked his disciples “Where is your faith?” The disciples had panicked because a storm was causing their boat to fill with water – putting their lives in jeopardy.

What is faith?

When we talk about faith in God what does it mean? Faith in God is believing God can and will do what is promised in his word. Faith is required to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Where does faith come from?

When God issued faith to each one of us – did he give some of us great faith and give some people a little faith? In Romans 12:3-8 Paul writes of how our faith is related to our life’s work/call in life.

How can we increase our faith?

The trials and tests of life provide the perfect opportunity to increase your faith. Looking back over your life and giving thanks for all God brought you through encourages faith in God! Luke 17:5-10 shares clues on how to increase your faith. Luke shares an account of the disciples inquiring about how to increase their faith so they asked Jesus. Jesus revealed to them the blessing of going beyond the requirements of maintaining a relationship with God. To increase the level of faith in your life – spend more time with God. When you continually immerse yourself in the word/Bible… God will introduce you to favor!

Now ask yourself: Where is my faith? Do I have great faith or little faith? The answer shows up in your everyday life. If you trust God to work miracles in your life you are walking on water with God! If you are completely satisfied with your life and the world around you and you are not asking God for anything – you may have little faith. Where is your faith in God?
