Each one of us has been given an earthly and eternal “head start in life” because each one of us has been created in the image and likeness of God. Yes, I know that being reminded of this truth can be
“breaking truth” for us as we continue to navigate the challenging twists and turns of our lives
and the charted path for our lives.
That’s even more of a reason why we MUST remember to let our lights SHINE! (The Light of
Jesus Christ in us). We are reminded of this truth In Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so
shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy,
noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in
heaven.”
Not only does God want the Light of His Son, Jesus to shine through us, but that it progressively
intensify! We are promised in Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in] the perfect day [to be prepared]. Choose to believe this for your life:
Every day - Believe More.
Every day –Surrender More.
Every day – Yield to The Holy Spirit More.
Every day – Allow The Light of Christ SHINE More!
As I reflect on a song I have heard before . . . .Don’t let nobody stop your SHINE!
….. Especially not you!
